A deleted Spider-Man: No Way Home scene pitted Tom Holland and J.K. Simmons.

The MCU's first wall-crawling trilogy's finale featured Multiversal antics and the return of various Marvel legends. 

J.K. Simmons returns to play J. Jonah Jameson at the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home, teasing the return of Andrew Garfield, Charlie Cox, and others for No Way Home.

Simmons' Daily Bugle boss returned for No Way Home, appearing in many sequences. The official Spider-Man: No Way Home - The Art of the Movie artbook revealed a deleted Spider-Man vs. J. Jonah Jameson scene from the MCU film.
