Jets Make Record $96 Million Deal

The New York Jets signed a star player.

ESPN's Adam Schefter announced Gang Green's $96 million four-year deal with Quinnen Williams on Twitter. The contract promises over $66 million.

The Jets' wealthiest player was Alabama's star. He broke three records.

Dunne then pointed to rapper Flau’jae Johnson in the crowd. Johnson's teammate Angel Reese won the Best Breakthrough Athlete ESPY.

The new team records are $96 million overall value, $66 million guarantees, and $24 million per year average. CJ Mosley held the records for overall value ($85 million), total guarantees ($51 million), and per-year average ($17 million).

Williams is eligible for a contract extension again this offseason. Last year, he worked without talking contract.

Williams demanded payment before the 2023 offseason. Q stayed away from the team all offseason.

Training camp began without knowing if the big guy would push it into the obligatory offseason.
