Jerry Jones has issued a caution to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Jerry Jones, the owner of the Dallas Cowboys, has refused to make any assurances about winning the Super Bowl.
But there's little doubt he's excited about the club the Cowboys will field in 2023, one that looks significantly stronger on paper than the ones that finished the season.
He wouldn't say if this was their best chance to win the Super Bowl, but he did issue a warning to the Philadelphia Eagles and the other NFC East clubs.
"I'll say that Philadelphia, and if you will, the Giants and the Washington team, they need to be on their game because we are," Jones said.
"We're going to be ready. And we shall be better than last year. I don't want to minimize Philadelphia's accomplishments,
both last year and where they're starting this year. I'm not going to dismiss it. And the Giants have a real chance to improve.
And Washington might be fired up. So I don't have to handicap it based on where we'll end up. Just the two of us, we're better."
It's difficult to believe, but the Eagles should improve in 2023 - BGN
We can anticipate the Eagles to regress from their 14-3 record during the regular season.
