'Guns & Gulaabs,' a new India original, has been announced by Netflix.
New Delhi Netflix will release Guns & Gulaabs, starring Rajkummar Rao, Dulquer Salmaan, and Gulshan Deviah, on August 18.
Media experts said Netflix eventually restricted password sharing in India to increase scalability and income. They suggested that subscription numbers could drop significantly.
The business began emailing Indian subscribers sharing the service with non-household members on Thursday. In recent months, several more markets adopted the approach.
To be clear, the shared account ban has merely been announced.A "Netflix Household" is a set of internet-connected gadgets at the main viewing location that may be set using a TV.
The clampdown requires entering verification numbers for up to seven days or connecting to a principal location Wi-Fi network at least once every 31 days.
Netflix will email non-household users to migrate their profile to a new subscription.
Netflix's April–June revenue climbed 3% year-over-year (y-o-y) due to a 6% growth in average paid membership, while ARM fell 3%.
The company attributed the y-o-y ARM decline to limited price increases over the past 12 months, timing of paid net additions,
primarily late in the quarter due to the May 2023 rollout of paid sharing, and a higher mix of membership growth from lower ARM countries.
