Britney Spears earned nearly $15 million despite appearing on 'X Factor' for only one season.

Spears, who is best known for her singing career, stunned everyone when she agreed to be a judge on the famous talent show The X Factor.

When it was announced that Britney Spears would be joining The X Factor as a judge, fans and industry insiders were ecstatic.

Spears earned close to $15 million during her brief stay on the reality singing show, a whopping eight-figure salary simply for her participation in The X Factor.

In 2012, she agreed to join the show for a $15 million compensation, making her one of the highest-paid judges in television talent show history.
