Bright's Zoo has given birth to a rare pristine giraffe.

WJHL/LIMESTONE, Tenn. — According to zoo ownership, one of the world's rarest giraffes was born in Bright's Zoo in July.

On July 31, Bright's Zoo in Limestone received the solid brown giraffe.

According to Bright's Zoo, "giraffe specialists think she is the only solid-colored reticulated giraffe surviving anyplace 

According to the zoo, the newborn giraffe is six feet tall and "thriving" under her mother's care.

Bright's Zoo is appealing for the public's assistance in narrowing down the four names that have been proposed for the nameless newborn giraffe.
